What an affiliate relationship means here
Some articles on First Journal, including those labelled Advertorial or Sponsored, recommend a third-party service and link to that provider’s own website. MEDIA MAZE LTD, the publisher, may earn a commission from the provider if a reader follows one of those links and signs up.
How the links work
Each call to action in such an article is an ordinary link to the provider’s website. The web address carries a campaign identifier so the provider can tell that a visit began on First Journal. The links are marked as sponsored, and no script on this site rewrites, delays or redirects them.
Who does what
- MEDIA MAZE LTD writes and publishes the article. It is an independent publisher, it is not the provider, and it does not employ, pay or hire anyone who signs up with the provider.
- The provider runs its own service. It handles registration, decides who is eligible, sets pay and publishes its own terms. Anything you agree to, you agree to with the provider.
How we describe providers
We describe a provider using what it publishes about itself on its own website, and we check those details when we publish. They can change, so please read the provider’s current pages before you decide. Personal accounts in our articles are the writer’s own view.
